Katrina And The Waves are running a competition to mark the 25th anniversary of their smash hit ‘Walking On Sunshine’, the song that everyone loves to sing along to. Now they are giving you a chance to become part of the legendary track.

Film yourself singing along to ‘Walking On Sunshine’ for the chance to win the entire back catalogue with all the music pre-loaded on an iPod!

Entering the competition is easy:

  3. Get yourself on video and drop your vocals over the top of the music – be as creative as you like.

Walking On Sunshine now has it’s very own iphone game! Available to download from the iTunes store here

The game features the brilliant new Soweto Gospel Choir version of Walking On Sunshine and fantastic graphics by Nathan J Crow, the gameplay is described as:

Gray clouds have covered the sky and prevented the sunlight from breaking through. Slowly, all the beauty and life is fading from The Earth. It’s up to you to brush those clouds away with the power of your swipes. Take control of the wind and follow the patterns to collect the extra sunlight and fill your battery to help the Earth grow strong and beautiful again. You can also see how many Kilowatts you’ve collected and share your score with your friends through Facebook or our online leaderboard.

Monday, May 24th, 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of our classic song “Walking On Sunshine”! To celebrate we’ve got lot of surprises planned, the first of which is a remastered version of the original song. The new and improved track, entitled “Walking On Sunshine 25″, will be released this coming Tuesday on iTunes and other fine download stores.
